The playoffs, which consisted of eight teams, were played in a double elimination format. Being late September, other backyard sporting events were taking place as well, most notably football games. In one instance, a football game had turned ugly when Truck took out the legs of Trinkey on a play. Pops got furious and put an end to all backyard sporting for the year, including our beloved playoffs, which were down to three teams remaining. So, as the story goes, the playoffs went unfinished.....
